Free Masks for Healthcare Workers & First Responders
Thank you so much to all who are on the frontlines, caring for the community as we all deal with the affects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand that there is a shortage of necessary supplies and want to help support those folks that continue to help our communities.
My mother and I started this Masks for Healthcare & First Responders Campaign by using our craft and sewing skills to make free masks for our local healthcare workers. We have been sharing our efforts with our followers via Instagram (@aztecanegra), and the response from the community has been so overwhelmingly supportive and generous that we will be able to continue to make and provide free masks for the Healthcare and First Responder community.
Mask Info:
- Made with pre-washed/pre-shrunk cotton fabric
- Double-sided & each is lined with non-woven interfacing (4 layers of material/mask)
- Washable for reuse
- Includes a wire inside the bridge of the nose to adjust the fit of the mask
- Masks are fitted and come in sizes M (fits avg. adult female) and L (fits avg. adult male)
**Not a replacement for N95 masks, but can help to reduce the spread of germs. It is recommended that they be used in addition to surgical masks, if possible.
